Prep is everything
Peeling epoxy is almost always a prep problem. Store-bought kits often fail because the concrete isn't opened up enough for the coating to bond. We mechanically grind the concrete with dust collection, repair cracks and spalled areas, and test for moisture before coating.
Coating systems
We'll recommend a system based on how you use the space:
- Full-broadcast flake systems — textured, slip-resistant and great at hiding dirt
- Solid-color epoxy for basements, workshops and gyms
- Metallic epoxy for a high-end showroom look
- Clear UV-stable topcoats to protect color and gloss
Garages, basements and more
Garages are our most common epoxy project, but coatings also work beautifully in basements, home gyms, workshops and laundry rooms. Coated floors resist oil, salt, and most household chemicals, and they wipe clean with a mop.
A coated basement floor also brightens the space by reflecting light, making it feel finished even before you add furniture.
Timeline and care
Most garage floors are completed in 1–2 days. You'll be able to walk on the floor within about a day and drive on it after a few days, depending on the system and temperature. We'll give you clear care instructions so the floor looks great for years.
